We try and stay away from Car parts etc, unless they are in the original Injection Moulded ABS raw condition and free of any metal, like brackets and clips or screws.
This means, there has been no Chrome Plating on the plastic or any other coatings, such as paint or Vacuum Metalising.

Scratches on your part will be highlited when Chrome plated.
A glossy clean part = a mirror finish chrome plated part

The car part must be Injection Moulded from Electroplating grade ABS and be free of any plastic welded repairs, as the Electroplating on Plastic will not Chrome plate in these areas.

If the car part is old and has been Electroplated before, all chrome on the plastic car part has to be stripped using aggressive chemicals.
These chemicals can put more stress on the Injection Moulded ABS plastic part and when it comes to the Electroplating process the piece can end up skipping ( chrome plating missing in some places) so you end up with a nice bright chromed part and in places the chrome is missing.

So even if you give us the go ahead, you need to be fully aware that We Take All Care But NO RESPONSIBILITY for the outcome and you will still be charged accordingly.
